Special Red Egg Food Supplement |
Quiko Special Red Egg Food Supplement contains Canthaxathin for color, real egg for protein, vitamins for conditioning.
A varied diet is the key to having a healthy bird. Seed diets are relatively low in protein and lack many essential vitamns. Pelleted and extruded diets don't offer variety and are many times poorly accepted by the birds. Adding egg food to any of these diets increases the protein and vitamin levels of the overall diet. Because most birds readily eat the egg food before anything else, it is the perfect means to introduce vitamins or medication when necessary.
Quiko Special Red can be fed to your bird three different ways:
1. Sprinkle 2 Tbs. of dry Quiko Special Red over your bird's daily diet.
2. Moisten 2 Tbs. of Quiko Special Red with enough water or juice to make a moist crumble texture, feed in a separate treat cup.
3. Mix 2 Tbs. of Quiko Special Red with 1 Tbs soaked seed, veggies or fruit and feed in a separate treat cup.
For variety try combining chopped fruit (kiwi, grapes, bananas, papaya) or chopped greens (kale, endive, romaine lettuce) or sprouts and seeds to the egg food.
For convienence, a larger batch can be mixed and refrigerated for up to 1 week.
Remove and discard any uneaten food daily.
Store Quiko Special Red Egg Food in a cool dry place
