Ornacyn-Plus - Erythromycin |
Ornacyn-Plus, with vitamins and amino acids. Treatment for respiratory diseases of pet birds, also corrects diarrhea and vitamin deficiencies. Obvious changes in a bird's appearance or posture indicate the bird is sick. Ruffled feathers, eyes closing, sitting low on perch, unusual breathing, sneezing or rasping indicate respiratory illness. Additional heat may also help your sick bird. I suggest an infra-red bulb for added warmth.

Contents: Each powder packet contains 29 mg Erythromcin activity, dextrose, citric acid, vitamin B1, 1 mg; Vitmain B2, 1 mg; vitamin B6, 1 mg; vitamin B12,0.010 mg; niacin, 0.05 mg; lysine, methionine
Dosage Treatment: For small birds (ie canary and finches) use one powder packet per 8 ounces of water. Use as bird's only water supply for five days. Put in fresh solution each day. Give bird additional heat source. If bird does not respond after 2 five-day treatments, see your veterinarian.
